It's pretty good and I'd argue it's better than most multiplayer FPS games. I'm not really sure how the state of the game is nowadays, but I know it has at least improved a lot performance-wise.Īlso, I'm not saying it's a bad game.
I was also very dissapointed when they cancelled the Linux version of Sandstorm, while using DRM that doesn't work with Proton (for now). Cyberpunk and Sandstorm are THE games that learned me to never ever pre-order a game again. I might be a bit biased because of the terrible launch of Sandstorm, tho. Sandstorm gets boring to me after 1-3 matches. I never get bored of it and I can play it for hours in one session. But for me, it comes down to this:Ģ014 is one of my all time favourite multiplayer games. There were more reasons why I didn't like Sandstorm as much as I hoped I would, but it"s been a while since I played it. It feels more "casual" and I strongly prefer the maps of 2014.
